Adele Stamper is RIPLO’s senior patent secretary with over 19 years of experience in all aspects of patent document preparation for every phase of prosecution before the U.S. Patent Office. Adele mentors and trains other employees in patent practice and procedures and maintains an active docket of work including form generation and completion, Information Disclosure Statement preparation, patent reference and prior art.document management, review of client communications, ongoing consultation with attorneys and agents, preparation of shell documents and correspondence for review by attorneys and agents, stringent and redundant pre-filing error prevention review processing, electronic filing and Certificate of Mailing filing procedures, time and expense entry and billing.

Prior to joining RIPLO, Adele worked for Thomas Cole, a senior partner at Sixbey, Friedman and Leedom (later Sixbey, Friedman, Leedom and Ferguson, which merged with Nixon Peabody LLP). Adele’s duties included attending to all aspects of Mr. Cole’s patent practice including the filing of U.S.-based and foreign-based patent application filings, responses to various routine Patent Office administrative matters, preparation of responses and amendments, payment of Issue and Maintenance Fees, and other duties associated with general patent practice.
